Benefits of travelling on an electric motorcycle:
Book your motorcycle by choosing one of these five locations in our reservation panel above.
Anything that is not included in these motorcycle rental Terms and Conditions will be governed by the Avis Budget Group Terms and Conditions at https://www.avis.es/TermsAndCondition
Minimum age for rental: 18 years.
Documents needed: DNI, NIE or Passport and Driving Licence A1 or B and the bank card with which the rent will be paid.
The holder of the rental agreement is the only person authorised to drive the motorcycle. You can add an additional driver at the Avis rental desk so that someone other than the owner can drive the motorcycle.
The motorcycle you rent is electric with a removable battery. In the event that the rental period is greater than one day or that you do not use the motorcycle for a long period during your rental, the contract holder is obliged to remove the battery to charge it and put it in a safe place. The battery has a cost of 3,000 euros and in case of loss, theft or carelessness, this amount will be charged to the driver.
A helmet is delivered along with the motorcycle. If the driver wishes to transport one companion, which is the maximum allowed, they must rent an additional helmet at the office. The driver will be responsible for all the rented helmets as well as the motorcycle keys.
The loss, theft, misplacement or any circumstance that renders said elements (helmets and/or key) useless will entail a charge of 50 euros per lost element for the contract holder.
The driver undertakes to respect traffic and circulation regulations, including expressly the obligation to wear a helmet and not drive under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs or any prohibited substance or that may alter the perception of the driver. In case of non-compliance with this clause, the driver must face all the damages that due to fault or negligence may cause and Avis reserves the right to recover against the driver any damages that the driver's culpable or negligent action may cause.
Motorcycles cannot be driven outside the national territory of the country in which they have been rented, the islands are expressly excluded unless expressly authorised in writing by Avis. In the same way, they may not be transported in trailers, boats, trains or any other means of transport, including merchandise.
The return of the motorcycles must be carried out at the office where they are collected during opening hours. Returns are not allowed outside of office hours. If the latter occurs, a charge of 50 euros will be applied to the contract holder.
The motorcycles have all the insurance required in accordance with current legislation. The insurance coverage covers civil liability and driver insurance, therefore the PAI and SPAI product is not available for the motorcycle rental modality.
